Stroll through the halls of the majestic stone building that once was the Christian Brothers Winery to the campus store at the CIA. If you love to cook, aspire to cook or just plain love to eat, you are bound to find something that will tempt you to whip out the credit card.
The Finery
Inside, a collection of cookware, bakeware, cooks' tools, books, magazines and specialty foodstuffs is tastefully arranged. This is a place where you can find any cooking gadget on the planet. A nice selection of chef wear includes all you need to outfit your kid, too. Be prepared to pay high-end prices for these premium items.
Do You Read Me?
More than 1,500 cookbook titles, including some from local Napa Valley restaurants, are available. The store also features cookbooks for kids and a selection of magazines like Pastry Art and Design, Cucina Italiana and Vogue Entertaining. (February 2001)

One-hour cooking demonstrations are offered to the public on Sat and Sun at 10:30am, 1:30pm and 3:30pm for $7.50 per person.
