Penne with mushroom and cream

Ingredients for 4-6 people

1tablespoon butter
1tablespoon olive oil
1/2 onion, finely chopped
2 cloves garlic finely chopped
400 g penne
150 g mushroom, sliced
200 g ham, cut in to strips
2tablespoon heavy cream
2tablespoon parmesan cheese and more for sprinkle
Some pepper and salt
Some salt and olive oil for penne

Preparation
1. Bring salt and olive oil to boiled water and then penne to water.
2. Heat butter and olive oil in a large frying pan by medium fire, and sauté the onion and garlic until soft or onion becomes transparent.
3. Add mushroom and ham and cook for about 5 minutes. Add pepper, salt, heavy cream and a little pasta water.
4. Simmer for about 5 minutes. Darin the penne and toss with the sauce for 1-2 minutes. Add 2tablespoon parmesan cheese and sauté for another 1 minute.
5. Place the pasta on a serving dish or individual dish. Sprinkle some parmesan cheese and pepper. Serve immediately.


If you don't have heavy cream. you can use whole milk substitute the pasta water and the whip cream. And use 2 tablespoon butter substitute 1TB butter and 1TB olive oil.
